Medical Biotechnologist with a PhD in Statistics and a scientific training as a “Visiting Scientist” at the Harvard School of Public Health (Department of Environmental Epidemiology). Areas of expertise: epidemiology and medical statistics, in particular epidemiology, regression models and survival analysis, mostly applied to the following settings: internal medicine, infectious diseases, cardiology, pulmonology, diabetology and vascular surgery (both observational studies and clinical trials), Statistical Analysis Plans (study design, sample size calculation and data analysis), genome-wide association studies (GWAS), management and analysis of hospital and regional data.
