Aim of CRITIC.BOT project is to analyse the activity flows in the Emergency Room to estimate the total length of stay of a patient based on the volume of requests for diagnostic, laboratory, and imaging exams. This provides valuable planning support to healthcare personnel, who can choose the most efficient diagnostic pathway, and more accurate information for the patient’s relatives regarding diagnosis time.
Target:
Aim of CRITIC.BOT project is to leverage Artificial Intelligence methods from Generator Real World Data (RWD) Facility to automatically extract data from hospital databases and to implement a time-to-response predictor for exams requested by the Emergency Room (ER), in order to estimate total length of stay of patients according to the set of requested exams.
